Further to my researches,

I managed to speak to Scintilla's (Meteor No6) owner today and she's still in sailing order!
They keep her on Lake Windermere, currently hauled out. This boat is still as she was made, A small cuddy and open cockpit. Hopefully the owner will send me some pics as and when he can find/scan them.
That makes three still surviving so far, though rumor has it there were a few around North Wales

Hi Mark, did Scintilla's owner ever come back with more information? I think it amazing that a 60+ year old class of 10 yachts still has 3 in the vicinity of water.
